Winners at Navonmesh 2017
‘Innovation leads to inventions’
At K.R. Mangalam World School, we believe in honing the inquisitive minds of the budding scientists and provide them with a platform to pursue their curiosity and guide them to innovate. A team of two students, Parth Khattar and Arjun Singh of Class XI, participated in- ‘Navonmesh 2017’ organised by the DPG Institute of Technology and Management, Gurgaon on Saturday, 21st January, 2017 and won the 2nd position.
The Scientific Research Competition based on innovative techniques designed and formulated by the students was very much appreciated by the judges who were prominent scientists working under the Government of India. The topic chosen by our team was – ‘Innovative methods of harnessing wasted energy’ which was showcased through a working model created by them – demonstrating generation of electricity out of wasted energies from AC ‘s and used washing water. The students were lauded by the judges for their innovative ideas as well as their presentation of the model. The students were awarded with an I- pod and certificates.
Ms Sonu Khandelwal, the Physics teacher was also awarded as the Best Mentor and received a tablet. The KRM family at Gurgaon, wishes its budding scientists the very best for their future endeavours.
