Nine students along with one teacher Ms. Ankita Joshi from K.R. Mangalam World School, Gurgaon attended the 5th International Students Exchange Programme, Beijing. This programme was incredibly wonderful and was a great learning experience for each participant as they got a chance to interact with 800 students from 20 different countries. It aimed at exploring and appreciating new cultures. It was an indefatigable promoter of learning and vital in breaking down the barriers to cultural understanding. Nidhi Anand hoisted the tricolor representing India in the welcome ceremony and Harjas got the opportunity to represent India in the opening ceremony and spoke about the unity which persists in the world. The students completed 20 hours Chinese language and culture course during the programme. The highlight of the programme included a visit to the Great Wall of China, Forbidden City, Tian’anmen Square and Capital Museum.
