GUIDELINES FOR PARENTS OF PRE-NURSERY TO CLASS - I

Dear Parents,
1.         At the out set, I would like to extend a hearty welcome to your ward in the warm folds of K.R.Mangalam World School, South City I , Gurgaon. The academic session commences from 5th April 2010.  Parents are requested to go through the instructions enumerated in the succeeding paragraphs carefully before their ward starts attending the School.
2.         I also take this opportunity to invite you to the Parent’s Orientation Ceremony  (without children)  scheduled on 3rd April, 2010 at 10 .00 am in the school premises.  
3.         School Timings
(a)  Pre-Nursery, Nursery                                 8.00AM to 12 Noon  ( Monday to Friday )
(b)  KG and Class I                                          8.00AM to 2.00 PM ( Monday to Friday )                                                                      
Parents who have opted to pick and drop their wards under their own arrangements are to ensure that their child reaches to School latest by 07.50AM. School gates will be closed sharp at 7.55AM.  No child will be allowed to enter School after 8.00 AM. Similarly, no child will be handed over to the parent/guardian at school gate before the dispersal unless a written request is received from parents/Guardians and permission is granted in writing by the Principal. No telephonic request or request from fellow students will be entertained.
Issue of Identity Cards :
4.         Parents are requested to collect the I-Cards for their wards from the School office on the dates and time as specified for issue of school uniform and books.  No child will be allowed in the school without the I-Card and no child will be handed over at the gate or bus-stop unless the parent/guardian is carrying the I-Card for dispersal.
 Name Tags :
5.         Please ensure that all  items including bag, bottle, tiffin, uniform are labeled so that in case of misplacement it could be easily traced and returned to the child.
Mid Day Meal
6.         Mandatory mid day meal will be provided to the students of classes Pre-Nursery, Nursery and KG on payment basis.  Rates are Rs. 30/- per meal.The list of Mid-Day meal for the months of April and May is being attached along with.The parents are required to pay for mid-day meal fee (April-May) in the accounts office before 5th April 2010.
Books and Uniforms :
7.         The books and uniform will be available at the Schools Book Shop and Uniform shop respectively on the days specified below.

Precaution :
8.         Expensive trinkets, watches and mobile phones are strictly not allowed in the school. Any student carrying a mobile, I-pod, camera etc. will be fined Rs. 1000/ and the gadget would be confiscated for one month.  School will not be responsible for any loss of such items.
Transport :
9.         School transport (Bus/Cab) will be available depending on the number of children joining from a particular area..  No student will be allowed to travel by bus without his/her dispersal card. The school ensures the safety and discipline of students on the bus by deputing a teacher, guard and maid on every bus.  However, the school cannot be held responsible for injuries or accidents incurred while transporting the children.  The parents are requested to visit the school any day after 24th March to check the transport routes displayed at the reception area.

Area of Contribution
10.       In case parents are interested to share any special information/medical information they would be welcomed. Please make a note in the school almanac and bring it to the notice of the class teacher, so that the same may be forwarded to the Incharge concerned.
