The teacher’s day commenced with joy, mirth and gaiety. The effervescent children
wanted to greet their beloved teachers with rose buds, bouquets, cards and lots
of warm wishes. Students of class VIII and IX had organized a wonderful programme
that lasted for about one and a half hours. They welcomed the teachers with Tilak
and also presented them bookmarks and chocolates. They sang melodious songs and
performed on foot-tapping numbers. They also enacted on a comical classroom scene.
The most captivating moment was the game organized for the teachers which was enjoyed
by one and all.
Later some of the teachers had also put up a great show by singing
and also a splendid dance performance. Lastly, all the teachers were provided with
a sumptuous lunch and were given gifts as token of love and appreciation. It was
indeed a momentous time for all the teachers. td>
