Active Participation Of Parents And Children On Stage

The new initiative of the K.R.Mangalam World School at Gurgaon at South City- I opened to  a flying start with a dynamic interactive session with over four  hundred parents and the who's who of the millennium city attending the inaugural function. Principals of various schools in general and other schools in the K.R.Mangalam network in particular , graced the occasion and interacted with parents.

The Chief Guest Sh.Alok Mittal ( IPS ) , Joint Commissioner of Police , Gurgaon,  mesmerized the audience with an interesting and motivating speech interspersed with verses in chaste  Hindi , which went down well with the parents.In his inimitable style, the Chief Guest compared work and passion for teaching  to love and relationships , stating that both demanded dedication and self-less sincerity.

Mr. Yash Dev Gupta, Chairman of the K.R.Mangalam group, fielded queries from attending media persons and some parents with characteristic simplicity and patience. Principal Neeti Kaoshik in her inaugural address,  acknowledged the contributions that went into the making of the school by one and all was overcome with emotions while addressing the parents, and thanked them for their faith in the system and the management .

Following the formal address, pre-primary children set the stage afire with their spectacular performance .The faculty was seen in its  full splendour,  and other staff members and support staff  were visibly bubbling with enthusiasm and eagerness writ large , looking forward to their maiden session.

Parents participation in the inaugural ceremony formed a highlight of the proceedings with active participation of people from different backgrounds.In lighter vein, some parents were asked to come on stage and enact a few situations which added a tremendous entertainment value to the whole event.The sincere effort to include parents in the  whole process of education of their wards was a message conveyed right at the inaugural stage and was well received by parents, who appreciated the school's initiative in this direction.
In a measure towards familiarization, the staff members were introduced to the attending parents and special interactive sessions in smaller groups were convened soon after for the benefit of the general public.

Opening to an overwhelming response,  the K.R.Mangalam World School at South City -Gurgaon is the fourth major school initiative in Delhi and NCR region. The Group has planned several more initiatives to cater to the educational needs of different regions, and the next in the pipeline is one at Vaishali in East of Delhi towards Ghaziabad.The Group also has launched Higher Education initiatives with under graduate and post graduate courses, with its campus at East of Kailash , New Delhi.
