K. R. Mangalam World School, Gurgaon successfully hosted the First Inter School Maths Quiz Competition- Math O Mania on 6th May 2011. The competition was conceptualized under the guidance of the school Principal Mrs. Neetii C. Kaoshik. The event was witnessed by the Chief Guest Mr. S.S.N. Ganjoo and Mr. S.K. Kapoor, Ex. Education Officers who addressed the gathering and expressed their appreciation for the outstanding caliber of the participant.

Sixteen teams from renowned public schools of Gurgaon and NCR participated. It created an opportunity for various schools to bring their first potential on a common platform.
After a brain teasing tussle 6 teams were chosen for the final round. Various rounds like Visual, Solve a problem, Mental Math and rapid fire were held and the quiz was concluded with the activity round. The opulent spectrum of activities and rounds provided a delightful dias to the participants.
DAV Public School, Sec: 14 was the first runner up followed by Tagore International School, DLF. K R Mangalam World School, Gurgaon bagged the first position and brought laurels to the school. The effort made by the school to kindle the spirit of speed and accuracy was acclaimed by one and all.
A creative activity using different geometrical shapes was also organized for the teachers who accompanied the participants.
