The investiture ceremony was held at K.R.Mangalam World School Gurgaon on August
12, 2011 along with the celebration of Independence Day. The event was commenced
with the lighting of lamp by chief guest Mr. S.L Bansal, retired IAS officer and
revered school Principal Mrs. Neetii .C. Kaoshik.

The audience was mesmerized by the performance of small children dressed up as Indian
leaders followed by a patriotic song and dance presentation. The objective of the
event was to espouse the confidence, development of leadership qualities and sense
of responsibility among the students.

Newly elected members of students council took pledge to fulfill their duties to
the best of their ability. Presidents of students’ council Sarthak Nayyar and Ishita
Tyagi discussed their agenda of the session in which active participation of student’s
council was a priority.

The parents wished the council members plenty of success in their future endeavour.
Programme concluded with the vote of thanks by Academic Coordinator Mrs. Seema Sehdev.
