K R Mangalam World School, Gurgaon successfully conducted an Inter House General
Knowledge Quiz between the houses Emerald, Ruby, Sapphire and Topaz

Education and competition are two universal ingredients of all human cultures and
General Knowledge Quizzes provide an impetus to sharpen the minds of children so
that they can develop a personality of their own and can become more creative, more
aware and more confident.

The competition was conceptualized under the guidance of the school Principal Mrs.
Neetii C. Kaoshik. The quiz was designed and organized by Ms. Pooja Mathur and Ms.
Seema Sehdev.

The participants had to go through six different levels starting with pick the right
answer to the mind boggling rapid fire round. The questions were categorized into
various levels on the basis of the age group of the children. Each round enclosed
with a different topic like advertising, cartoons , inventions, technology, mythology
etc to name a few. It was a Brain Storming session which continued for two hours.
The competitive spirits were nurtured by House Mayors and students by loud cheering
and clapping.

At the end of every round there was an audience question which kept the interest
alive among the audiences. Bhavik (III), Tanishi (IV), Raunak(VI), Aditya(V), Ativ
(VIII) emerged as shining stars with correct answers from the audiences
|
|
Topaz team comprising of Ishita (IX), Aditya (VIII), Dev (VII), Aadhyansh (VI),
Antara (V), Reha (IV), Mikul (III), Tanya (II), emerged as the winner of the competition.
T he house warden, Miss Priya Chauhan was overwhelmed to see the outcome of team
efforts.

The second position was taken over by the Emerald house followed by Ruby which stood
third.
