FRIDAY WORKSHOPS REPORT
Class – Nursery Shapes Sorting
Learning shapes is a key skill for younger children. It helps them to develop other more advanced skills as they grow. In this workshop, the children were given cutouts of different shapes like circle, square, rectangle and triangle mixed in a bowl. They sorted the shapes and pasted them on the given picture. It was a play way method to reinforce the concept of shapes.
Class – KG How To Brush Teeth Properly With Dr. Keller?
Brushing our teeth is a very important part of healthy living. This workshop aimed at teaching children the right way of brushing by showing them a video clipping. The teachers discussed the importance of dental care and how to go about it. They observed the video keenly and promised to brush their teeth the proper way. The children also pasted pictures of food that are good and bad for teeth on a sheet of paper.
Class – I Sweet Dish Without Fire
Grade 1 students got a chance to become Chefs yet once again. Last Friday, they made ‘English Trifle Pudding’. With the layers of cake, fruits and ice cream with Gems as garnish, this dessert sure was a big hit with them. Each one of them promised to make this delicious dessert at home for their parents.
Class – II to VII Celebrated Teacher’s Day
Teacher’s Day was celebrated with great fervor on 03. 09.2010. Students of classes VI and VII organized a cultural program and staged various dance performances, skit and song for the teachers. Teachers were given titles on that day.
