Children's Day Celeberated on 12.11.2010 Bal Mela
K. R. Mangalam World School, Gurgaon organized ‘Bal Mela’ on November 12 to commemorate the birthday of Jawahar Lal Nehru and also to celebrate his love for children. On this day, the Children came to school all excited as they knew it was a special day. As they entered the school premises, they were surprised to see riders put up in the campus.
Classes Pre-Nursery, Nursery and KG were the first ones to visit the mela .They were followed by the students of Class I. To their surprise, they found a bouncy, on which they jumped and slid till they were asked to proceed to the next activity. A toy train was just what they needed and waved to their teachers as they took rounds on it. Next came a merry go round, followed by a horse carriage ride which was most unexpected and exciting for the children. After a heart full of fun and excitement on the rides the children went back to their classes for refreshments. This was not the end of fun for the day. There was more excitement waiting as the teachers had organized a puppet show for classes Pre-Nursery to K.G.
The senior ones from Classes II to VII , had displayed exciting and innovative games under the guidance of their teachers in nicely decorated stalls. It was a scintillating event for them. Children were showered with token gifts as souvenir and refreshments which added to the cheer of the day.

Thus, another day full of thrill and enjoyment, come to an end, even though the children looked forward to more.
